Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro, Galaxy C5 Pro In December? Galaxy Note 7 Recall No Impact On Other Samsung Products?

Samsung is rumored to finally reveal the much-anticipated Galaxy C7 Pro and Galaxy C5 Pro in December. Based on a post on Weibo, the South Korean company appears to be gearing up the long-rumored handsets.

The new Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro and Galaxy C5 Pro were previously reported to be in the pipeline, bearing the model numbers SM-C7010 and SM-C5010 respectively. However, there have no details provided since then regarding the phone specifications. Nevertheless, there are speculations suggesting that the Galaxy C7 Pro, which went through a testing in India last month, will come with a Snapdragon 626 chipset. On the other hand, Galaxy C5 Pro is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor.

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro and Galaxy C5 Pro are also rumored to sport at least 3GB of RAM. However, this has yet to be confirmed by the tech giant, according to SamMobile. Meanwhile, the company's worldwide recall of the Galaxy Note 7 handsets did not seem to affect the consumers' willingness to purchase Samsung products in the US. This was based on the result of an opinion poll conducted a few days ago.

The survey, which was conducted from Oct. 26 to Nov. 9, revealed that current Samsung smartphone users were as loyal as the iPhone users to the Apple brand. In addition, the poll also discovered that those who were aware of the recall were also interested in Samsung phones as those who did not know.

It should be noted that the Korean tech giant was involved in a global issue following the reported cases of Note 7 handsets catching fire this year that prompted a global recall. Previous reports claim that some users reported fixed phones overheated, which led for replacements as well.

Samsung customers were expected to turn to other phone products like the iPhone 7 of Apple. But the poll result revealed otherwise, as 91 percent of current Samsung users are likely to buy another smartphone from the company, while 92 percent of current users would possibly purchase another Samsung product in general, Reuters reported.
