Last August 2016, Samsung announced its CFG70 monitors. It is a simple 24-inch curved monitor with a humble 1080p resolution. It is quite the perfect monitor for any kind of users.
The Samsung CFG70 monitor achieves the difficult feat of user needs, both as a gamer and a photographer. The unusual amature and large black pedestal designs inspire confidence. With a 144Hz refresh rate and one millisecond response time, it has all the makings of a perfect artistic monitor too.
Samsung CFG70 monitor has 24″ and 27″ size option for the users. Both size have 1920 x 1080 resolution, 1 millisecond response time and 144 Hz refresh rate, Curved VA panel (1800R), Quantum Dots color tech with 125 percent of sRGB coverage and 3000:1 static contrast ratio.
AMD Free Sync and 2 HDMI, 1 DisplayPort are also included in the specs. Samsung CFG70 monitors have no speakers, which maybe the only flaw of this hardware. This cost from $349 USD to $449 USD, which is not bad for this high end quality monitor.
Digital Trends reported that the Samsung CFG70 monitor is easy to set up, which is basically a matter of dropping it into its swiveling arm stand. It's a very versatile stand where users can adjust height, swivel and tilt it. Samsung also has convenient motion in the axis for bringing the screen closer or further from the user. You can also rotate the screen in portrait mode, which is very useful when editing photos.
The Samsung CFG70 does everything it claims to do. As users guess from the spec sheet, it's extremely responsive. The Next Web reports that as long as you don't mind the resolution and don't need to adjust calibration settings, the contrast, colors, uniformity and flexibility, this monitor is one of the best options for general monitor use.
There are cheaper options available in the market if you just need something with a fast refresh rate and decent image quality. Many brands offer these qualities with their products, but it is very hard to find the combinations of specs and quality the Samsung CFG70 offers.
