The Paramount Pictures' first ever "Transformers Bumblebee" spin-off movie is moving closer to fruition. "Bumblebee" movie is coming and the fans of the alien robot's movie will no longer have to wait any longer.
As the reports say, Christina Hodson is the writer who cracked the spin off movie. She turned in a script that will make it possible for the studio to have the standalone "Transformers Bumblebee" movie ready in time for its release date on June 2018.
Christina Hodson is already working on numerous high-profile projects in development, including a reboot of "The Fugitive" and an untitled DC Comics movie amongst other projects. She was a late addition to the 'writers room' initiative assembled last summer whose target is to give new features in the Hasbro universe and lead to this project, the "Transformers Bumblebee" movie.
Before the "Transformers Bumblebee" movie is released, the original movie series "Transformers: The Last Knight" will be released first. The new sequel is directed by Michael Bay from a script by Iron Man writer, Matt Holloway and Art Marcum. Mashable reports that the movie opens on the summer of 2017 and the first trailer has been classified and suggested that it will be released soon.
Big movie franchises are now converted into the wide universe with spin offs with connections to the main franchise, causing the writers' rage with the studios. Dar Horizons reported that the "Transformers" and Hasbro universe's first spin-off "Transformers Bumblebee" script is reportedly complete.
