LG Electronics was under fire when many gamers went furious about its OLED and LCD TVs' laggy performance which led them to file two petitions about the performance issue. Gamers who filed petitions wanted the company to improve the period which a TV takes to deliver image data that is picked up at its inputs.
Luckily, the two petitions filed on change.org made an impact and now it seems that LG's OLED and LCD TVs performance issue will be sorted out. LG has confirmed with Forbes that it will be releasing a firmware update to its TVs that will resolve the HDR lag issue.

Although it's not yet clear whether LG Electronics firmware update will patch both OLED and LCD TVs and to what extent the HDR lag issue will be trimmed down, the company's confirmation that it's already working on the update which will address the concern is already a great news to all gamers.
