The famous hitmaker Ed Sheeran dated Ellie Goulding a while back but things did not go well for the two stars. Ellie Goulding cheated on him with one his friends while they were in the same hotel.
Ed Sheeran was downstairs, while his then girlfriend was busy getting physical with one of his friends, who was rumored to be Niall Horan, according to a report by the Mirror. He had also been involved with Nicole Scherzinger from Pussy Cat Dolls, which did not turn out well either.
Just last month, rumors about Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez dating has surfaced. The rumor was fueled right after Ed Sheeran visited the "Hands to Myself" singer in rehab where she is currently staying.
Fans got excited about the possibility of having the two singers be romantically linked, however, Ed Sheeran did not speak a word about the visit. Could he have been dumped by Selena Gomez?
Ed Sheeran has already hinted that he is done dating celebrities. "One thing I've learned is mixing the public with the personal life always ends in tears... so I'm not going to talk about that side of things [any longer]," he said.
And it seems like he has moved on and learned his lesson. The Daily Mail reported that Ed Sheeran is currently dating Cherry Seaborn, a friend he met in high school. Ed Sheeran has so far managed to keep their relationship low-key but still occasionally display affection publicly.
As for the rumors about Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez, these are just fan speculations and the two seems to be just friends. After all, the singer seems to be happy with his current non-celebrity girlfriend.
