Avid fans of the MTV series "Teen Wolf" will soon see a new Alpha taking over Scott's (Tyler Posey) pack. Latest spoiler news teased of Scott's plans to groom his beta Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) as his replacement in "Teen Wolf" Season 6.
Exciting and scary things are in store for beloved characters in the final season of "Teen Wolf." Previous seasons have shown Scott's transformation from a normal teenage boy to an Alpha of his pack. With the said character's final year in school, Scott will turn to Liam as his potential replacement as pack leader.
In an interview with TVLine, showrunner Jeff Davis revealed that the back half of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will feature Scott's plans to leave Beacon Hills and set off on his own adventures. However, as pack leader, one of the things that he has to consider is the safety of his hometown and his team. Liam will be put on the spot since Scott has set his eyes on the said character as his successor.
Davis commented that the said plot line has been part of the story arc that he and the MTV show's writing team initially envisioned. Similar to how Derek's (Tyler Hoechlin) character evolved in the earlier seasons of "Teen Wolf," Scott will follow his former Alpha's lead and hand over the pack to his beta Liam.
The MTV series' executive producer added, "Scott would become Derek, and Liam would become Scott. We really liked the big brother, little brother relationships that they found themselves falling into."
The "Teen Wolf" showrunner also teased that Liam will remain wary of Corey (Michael Johnston) given the said character's previous involvement with the villainous Theo (Cody Christian) as featured in Season 5. Meanwhile, Cody's special powers may have a link to the new Season's villains, the mysterious Ghost Riders.
In "Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 2, Corey will discover his potential connection with the villainous group's Wild Hunt. Titled "Superposition," the said episode will also feature Lydia (Holland Roden), Malia (Shelley Hennig) and Scott's growing awareness that they are missing someone important in their lives. Given Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) disappearance after being captured by the Ghost Riders, Scott and his gang will start their quest to find their missing friend.
