"Dishonored 2" has had performance issues on PC that gamers have been complaining about. Some of these issues that players were experiencing are game crashing as well as unable to maintain a stable frame-rate although some players are running a high-end graphics cards.
Finally, these issues can now be fixed following the release of "Dishonored 2" 1.2 beta patch. According to Kotaku, the update can now be downloaded under Dishonored 2's properties menu in Steam.
The "Dishonored 2" new 1.2 beta patch makes a few corrections and also adds new settings. It reduces framerate stuttering, the framerate is limited at 120 FPS to avoid physics issues which only happens above 120fps and the maximum pre-rendered frames is now being administered by the game.
The new 1.2 beta patch of "Dishonored 2" now has a FPS limiter that can be modified to trim down the fluctuation. Its texture details settings have been adjusted which will make a considerable visual and change in terms of the game's performance.
Moreover, the "Dishonored 2" new 1.2 beta patch also has an additional frequency in V-sync UI and the environment details settings have been removed since it was a solid tie with view distance. The fog quality settings have also been removed since it didn't give enough impact on the visuals nor giving performance advantages.
With the "Dishonored 2" new 1.2 beta patch release, players are now experiencing an improved and smooth performance while playing the game. The frame-rate is now steady as well as it has been reduced particularly at 60fps.
"Dishonored 2" was designed by Joackim Daviaud, Christophe Carrier and Dinga Bakaba, developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It's a stealth action-adventure video game and the series takes place in the fictional Empire of the Isles. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 11, 2016.
