It is confirmed by Sam Heughan that the production team of "Outlander" Season 3 has started filming over the summer and is heading to South Africa for their location. The filming is said to take long and it won't finish until May.
New names will also appear like Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin who were spotted filming at the glassglow. Cinema Blend confirmed that there are lots of things to do for the editing and post-production which makes it longer to finish so fans really need to wait longer.
Sam added that the filming of "Outlander" Season 3 is expected to finish until next May. Sam and the rest of the team were very excited about the location as it is a pretty location.Starz "Outlander" is based on Diana Gabaldon's book entitled "Voyager," and it is described as a dense book with many location changes.

However, GamenGuide wrote that Nell Hudson will be coming back to the series and she will portray the role of Jamie's wife as Laoghaire. The pickpocket boy Fergus whom Jamie and Claire grown to be their own, has turned out to be charming and devilish handsome man.

"Outlander" Season 3 will pick up where it ended, after the battle in Culloden. The time after Jamie and Claire separate from each other. Before Season 2 concluded, it was remembered that Jamie convinced Claire to go back to the present time with her first husband Frank for the sake of their baby.
