The Nexus 7 is still a hot topic among tech fans. The Google Nexus 7 release date was expected to be announced at the recently concluded Google Pixel event but it appeared void, making speculations more intense.
One of the early rumblings about the 7-inch tablet is that it could be manufactured by the popular Chinese manufacturer Huawei which is certainly one company already familiar with the Google Nexus project.
According to Mobile N Apps, an American blogger and gadget leakster “Evan Blass” alleges that the upcoming tablet won't bear the name “Nexus 7”. Just recently Huawei has allegedly agreed that it is making a Nexus device for 2016. Many tech speculators have been holding on to the fact that Google recently removed the HTC-made Nexus 9 from its official online store as evidence that a new Nexus 7 must be imminent. Moreover, there hasn't been any single leaked image of the new “Nexus 7” for now.
“Nexus 7” as rumored reported by The Bit Bag, will not run Android Nougat but the new Andromeda and a mash-up of Chrome OS and Android platforms. It's also rumored to pack with 7in Quad-HD (2560x1440) pressure-sensitive display, 4GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 GPU, 32GB or 64GB internal storage, MicroSD support up to 2TB and 13Mp rear camera. The battery is speculated to pack 5100 mAh battery capacity and sport a USB Type-C connectivity.
According to GSM Arena, cameras don't matter much on a tablet because people think that when taking shots with it on event it might slip off easily, but nevertheless, there's suggestion and anticipation that there will be a 13-megapixel camera or more on Nexus 7.
The front camera is more useful and valuable as this is your key to video chats and much much more. It is speculated to be 8-megapixels, because that's what Huawei manufacturer tends to use on its devices.
The anticipated Google Nexus 7 is expected to arrive with an affordable price despite its high-quality features. These speculations may either be confirmed or debunked when it's finally out on December or January 2017.
