The even ends on January 11, 2017, so players must hurry if they really want to get Snorlax as one of their main Pokemon early in the game. Fortunaely, this guide will walk the player through every step to get Munchlax, Snorlium Z, and the very powerful Snorlax.
Claiming the Mystery Gift
First is players must make sure they are logging in within the said dates. Next is to start the game, followed by a save and quitting to get to “Pokemon Sun and Moon” main menu. Once there, click the Mystery Gift option. Clicking it will lead to a prompt message Get via Internet. Make sure the Nintendo 3DS is connected to the internet before clicking it.
Munchlax and Snorlium Z for you!
A wonder card will appear and it should be titled “Munchlax and Snorlium Z for you!” Now all that needs to be done is to click the card and head back to the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" game. Afterwards, players must go to any Pokemon Center in the region and talk to the person closest to the desk. She will then hand a level 5 Munchlax.
Evolving Munchlax to Snorlax in "Pokemon Sun and Moon"
The Munchlax should come with the Thick Fat ability, Metronome, Tackle, Hold Back and Happy Hour moves. Unfortunately, the Z-Crystal on hand will not work with Munchlax but can be used to evolve him to the cute yet powerful Snorlax. Of course players must max the Pokemon’s happiness before an evolve can happen.
To maximize the happiness of Snorlax or any Pokemon in "Pokemon Sun and Moon", include it in the party and walk wiith it as often as possible. During battles, don’t allow any of the Pokemon to faint as it will decrease its happiness. Feeding, petting helps increase its happiness too.
