Snide remarks from Lindsay Lohan triggered Ariana Grande fans to a fire back when the actress took to Instagram and commented on three of her posts saying, "Too much make-up," reported Teen Vogue.
Grande recently posted recent selfies from the set of "Hairspray Live!" on her Instagram account alongside cast members. Although such photos showed the singer happy and excited to be part of the segment, Lindsay Lohan went on and bashed the singer with respect to wearing too much make-up.
As screenshots that showed Lindsay Lohan's harsh comments on Grande's photos, the singer's fans fired back and commented, "Too much drugs" to put the "Mean Girls" actress to shame after her negative notions about Grande, reported Daily Mail.
The singer, who plays Penny Pingleton in the NBC production "Hairspray Live!", posted a photo with Dove Cameron wherein she appeared to have added fake lashes and thick eyeliners to her facade on Instagram to which Lindsay Lohan also commented the same phrase on. In fact, her co-actress had similar make-up features as she did. Disappointed, her fans defended their idol and slammed Lohan with phrases like, "What did she ever do to you?!," showing their distaste towards the Hollywood A-lister.
Ariana Grande fans were on full-support mode, Mikey, an Instagram user, did comment that the make-up on the singers was messy. However, questions flew as to why Lindsay Lohan would comment such harsh notions against Grande. In fact, the source manifested, "Why do celebrities even do stuff like this? Are they just bored?" Although there had been no confirmation as to why Lindsay Lohan suddenly threw shade at Ariana Grande, the singer's fans were there to back her up and defend their idol from the mean critique Lohan had shown.
