The WWE Survivor Series 2016 pay-per-view gives viewers more than one reason to wait for, which summons the talk of what could potentially happen to the superstars and brands. Naturally, some believe that there will be those who might stand out, whereas some will be left dealing with the darkness.
As some may know, the particular pay-per-view class was built entirely around the idea that teams will be facing each other for supremacy and bragging rights on who the better brand is. However, for the WWE Survivor Series 2016 event, things are definitely more interesting as someone who established his name in the past has ascended out of retirement for a massive clash.
The 12-Year-Old Rematch
Recent reports that have spoken of the WWE Survivor Series 2016 focus quite a lot on the returning Goldberg, one of WCW's most decorated superstars. With such a long build up until before the pay-per-view, fans continue to predict that the athlete could still bring the fight to his challenger, Brock Lesnar, even at nearly 50 years old. However, with the series currently at 1-0 in favor of Goldberg, there are also speculations that Lesnar will be able to get the victory this time around, matching up the score for a possible WrestleMania rematch.
Brand vs. Brand
The same cannot be said for the traditional 5-on-5 RAW v SmackDown match to take place in the WWE Survivor Series 2016 pay-per-view. At this point, reports speak of the potential game-changers and weak links within it-one being the Big Dog, Roman Reigns. Being unable to create an adequately convincing promo, Reigns is speculated to be the one who could go to an uncertain direction post the pay-per-view despite the company's attempt to pair him with Seth Rollins. Those that are somewhat expected to stand out are Braun Strowman, Dean Ambrose, AJ Styles and the potentially the JeriKO alliance.
Stand Out from the Many
While the main matches could prove to be interesting on their own rights, the lower card matches are also expected to bring flavor to the WWE Survivor Series 2016 event. The 10-on-10 RAW v SmackDown Tag Team Elimination Match which features a whole plethora of veteran and upcoming stars could give way to potential stories. The insinuating story for Anderson & Gallows along with Enzo & Big Cass could head to different direction, as well as that of Sheamus and Cesaro. In this case, SmackDown's Heath Slater & Rhyno, the champions, are rumored to take the big win.

Interestingly, the Women's 5-on-5 Elimination Match for WWE Survivor Series 2016 of RAW v SmackDown shows promise, with RAW being a predicted winner. The WWE Cruiserweight Championship between Brian Kendrick and Kalisto also sparks interest, with the probability of Kalisto taking the entire division to SmackDown. Lastly, the WWE Intercontinental Championship could finally land on the hands of Sami Zayn, attempting to take it from the current champion, The Miz.
