Things just get more interesting as “Legends of Tomorrow” goes along. The last episode saw the team go back to the Western setup though the breadcrumbs affecting the team showed.
Notable was the scene involving Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber) who was getting flashbacks of a mystery woman. It was somehow similar to what Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) experience when “The Flash” opened its third season, Techno Buffalo reported.
In a way, the face-off with Stein’s younger self is being singled out as the cause. But then again, there is another possibility in the person of “Damien Darhk” (Neal McDonough) and the “Eobard Thawn” (Matt Letscher). Remember that scene from the previous episode that included a ride that is most likely a time-machine?
Whatever the reason behind Stein’s headaches and flashbacks is, it is certainly something not good, FanSided reported. When the show wrapped up, recall how the Sara Lance/ White Canary (Caity Lotz) told the team that their friends in 2016 needed help. Could this be one of the links tied up to the big crossover?
The “Invasion” cross-over is a four-part series which is set to kick off on Nov. 28 on “Supergirl”. According to Comingsoon.net, this will continue on to the “Flash”, “Arrow” and then “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”.
The meat of the big crossover will involve “The Dominators” and alien race who view humans as a threat to their species. With humans seen to be genetically superior, they try to wipe them out including Earth.
It will be interesting how these all tie up and how it will affect “Firestorm”. With an unstable Dr. Stein, likely to be affected as well is Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh). Also do Darkh and Thawne have a hand in any of this?
