‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: Version 0.47.1 Preps Mobile Gamers For Big Niantic Rollout

For most “Pokemon Go” players, a credible update would be the ones involving Gen 2 or maybe even the rumored in-game events following Niantic’s Halloween offering. For now, nothing has been made official though minor tweaks could prep gamers for the big rollouts.

The latest is an update rolled out by Niantic for “Pokemon Go” players on Android with 0.47.1. The update is not that much of thing to rave about but it does help out a bit in the area of tackling minor performance issues.

Version 0.47.1 for “Pokemon Go” brings improvements to the “Pokemon Go” egg-hatching animations and some minor text fixes, Nintendo Insider reported. The fix was tied up to an issue involve the cutscene animation of the egg-hatching which at times was visible to the map view.

It may not be much but a useful fix for the ones playing “Pokemon Go” on Android. It follows a previous update on 0.33.0 which was reportedly meant to address the proper assessment on whether players were actually passengers or drivers when playing the augmented reality game while on the go.

The recent small updates have been overshadowed by big and meaningful ones most want to see. With Thanksgiving happening in a couple of days, most are hoping to see yet another generous development for “Pokemon Go”. This could be in the form of more spawns and goodies, similar to what most got during the Halloween.

Headed into December, the big one is of course Christmas. Pocket monsters, rare sightings, item rollouts and Pokemon candies are what most want to see though nothing has been officially announced by Niantic for “Pokemon Go”.

“Pokemon Go” Gen 2 is also speculated to come by December at the earliest, so these minor tweaks could be preparation for the big one. Make sure to check back for big updates on “Pokemon Go” here on Game and Guide!
