"Samurai Shodown VI" features forty one characters all in all with each character possessing different styles of swordplay. The most recognizable character in the franchise is Haohmaru, with the character's ability to make mini-tornados with the swing of a katana.
Meanwhile, "Samurai Shodown VI" on the PlayStation 4 will feature four extra unlockable characters that players can unlock only by clearing specific conditions in the game. "Samurai Shodown VI" also has additional three unlockable spirits such as Devil, Beast, and Ritual in the game.
The "Samurai Shodown VI" franchise was released for PS2 in 2005 before the game title got featured in the Arcade that resulted to the game's fan base. "Samurai Shodown VI" is the last game to feature a 2D-style of gameplay, which was considered a traditional trait in the franchise before the release of "Samurai Shodown Sen" in 2008, which featured a 3D style of gaming.
