Mod use for PS4 gamers playing “Fallout 4” has been hit by issues but a new patch could improve on the current status. Patch 1.12 has rolled out to address modding functionality though there are additional tweaks to look forward to.
As most know, the introduction of mods to the PS4 has been through a lot and remains limited. Despite the minimal adoption, compatibility on the use of mods seems to be the big problem. While it is not surprising to learn such, a new patch may finally address those problems for better “Fallout 4” play.
Improved Modding Functionality
As before, users who plan to use mods on “Fallout 4” are warned of the risks tied up to it. Patch 1.12 comes with improvements to the issue such as the proper render of mod categories and favorites, the classification on which mods are safe for download and mods to yield doubled, Neurogadget reported.
The fixes should be welcome to “Fallout 4” players on the PS4, regardless of the limitations it brings. It would be wise to note as well that there is a disclaimer aimed at mod users, risks and performance drop included.
More than mod fixes
Aside from the fix for mod users of “Fallout 4”, patch 1.12 also comes with tweaks to other areas. That includes address bugs tied up to sound effects when reloading zones, game crashing when starting a new game and audio cuts when a sentry bot uses dual Gatling lasers.
Patch 1.12 for “Fallout 4” seems filled with useful fixes so gamers are encouraged to apply them to address various problems right now. The update was previously expected when the game issues somehow became irritating as mentioned in a previous post.
Moving forward, it will be interesting if patch 1.12 has addressed most of the problems for “Fallout 4”. Hopefully, no other serious bugs come out as most try to play the game with or without the controversial use of the mod functionality.
