Remedy Entertainment recently posted a reportedly new game teaser which fans have been talking about since its release but it looks like it's not. It was expected that the game will be released sooner as the Finnish studio's business director Johannes Paloheimo said that they don't want to spend five years in shipping a game.
"We don't want to take five years to ship a game. It's been a long process, trying to transition into a two-team studio, but now we can make more games faster and diversify both financially and creatively," said Paloheimo following the release of the teaser video. In September, Remedy Entertainment also confirmed that it had started making multiplayer games that made people think that a new game is coming after the teaser video was posted on YouTube.
The teaser video posted on YouTube was titled "The Greatest Trailer of All Time" from which Remedy Entertainment's creative director Sam Lake appeared in it along with an intriguing snippet of Muzak at the end. However, it seems that it is not a new game at all contrary to what everyone's expectation or speculations.
According to GameSpot, the teaser video is a wacky blooper that is a recruitment video instead. It looks like Remedy Entertainment is looking for people who can work for the company as the new video posted on YouTube is captioned "Making Games Is Hard" with a note that reads: "Are you up for the challenge?" including a link to its recruitment website.
With Remedy Entertainment's new recruitment video, it could mean that it must be trying to add people who can lend a hand to continue its endeavour in creating quality works. The developer is best known for developing "Max Payne", "Alan Wake" and "Quantum Break."
