Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder are facing tough times according to some rumours as "The Vampire Diaries" actor is said to be reuniting with ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev. Reports claim that the ex-couple will be together in the all-new Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" movie adaptation to replace Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
If the reports are true, "The Vampire Diaries" fans would be thrilled to see Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder together in the "Twilight" movie; except Nikki Reed. Ian Somerhalder's wife is rumoured to be throwing fits with the idea of her husband reuniting in a movie with Nina Dobrev.
Rumors are rife that Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder are on the verge of divorce because of Nina Dobrev. The former "The Vampire Diaries" couple are reported to be reigniting their romance as plans to work together come to fruition. However, Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder were seen together at a charity event looking good and happy, unmindful of the divorce rumours going around.
Interestingly, Nikki Reed plays the role of Rosalie Hale who was initially attracted to Edward Cullen in Stephanie Meyer's novel. If Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder will replace Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in the all-new "Twilight" movie, then that would be an interesting love triangle on and off the screen.
Meanwhile, Paul Wesly is reported to have confirmed that Damon Salvatore and Elena Gilbert, portrayed by Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev, respectively, will meet again in the "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. The Aussie Network News has reported last May that Nina Dobrev will be a special guest cast in the last season. Fans do not know if that will still pursue, but Nikki Reed may not be thrilled at all about that news.
