The Australian drama series "Wentworth" has had spectacular four-season run with Danielle Cormack as Bea Smith, but last season's finale saw the death of the character. While the show has been renewed for "Wentworth" season 5, many are wondering how the show will progress without her.
TV Tonight reported in July that Foxtel has ordered "Wentworth" season 5 despite the death of Bea Smith, the inmate whose journey viewers have been following since the beginning of the show. Now that she is no more, it seems that the show will be looking for someone else's story to tell, and it only makes sense that Kate Jenkinson's Allie Novak would take Bea's place as the central character in the series.

During the last season finale, viewers were shocked to find Bea confronting Joan Ferguson (Pamela Rabe) for the attempted murder of Allie, her lover. She took matters into her own hands to make sure that Joan would never see the outside of the prison walls. She sacrificed herself to make sure that Joan would be seen as guilty for her murder. But what will become of Joan and Allie come "Wentworth" season 5? Production and filming on "Wentworth" season 5 is currently underway in Australia and fans are curious to know what is going on. It seems that one of the cast hints at return of Danielle Cormack as Bea Smith. Here's why.
Socratis Otto, who plays Maxine Conway on the show, recently tweeted the hashtag "#beasmith" along with a photo with a quote that reads "You're beautiful." Does this allude to the character's death or her possible return to the show? The network and production are keeping tight-lipped on whether or not fans will see the return of Danielle Cormack as Bea Smith in "Wentworth" season 5. However, we'll let you decide on whether this is a sign that they are keeping secrets from fans and that we will indeed see the return of Danielle Cormack as Bea Smith.
