LEGO's largest store in the world is now at London's Leicester Square. It was officially opened on Wednesday, November 16. It features Big Ben, the iconic red telephone box, William Shakespeare, Brickley the dragon, Mascot Lester and more of London's tourist attractions.

According to CNET, London's Leicester has been the home of cinemas and theaters. Now, it has a new star attraction in the world's largest LEGO store. It is located in Leicester and across M&M's World and Nickelodeon Store. The world's largest LEGO store is two-storey structure with a 9,800 square foot area and has detailed items made up of bricks.
Outside the world's largest LEGO store are London's tourist attractions. It includes a 21-foot Elizabeth Tower at the Parliament house that holds the famous Big Ben. It also features a red telephone box that is similar with the London Underground roundel where people can stand inside. LEGO store also shows a mosaic of London skyline that is made of 265,000 bricks, Underground train carriage, William Shakespeare, Robin Hood, Queen Elizabeth II and London's bearskin-hatted Foot Guards.
Aside from the Big Ben, another noteworthy feature of the store is the large LEGO version of the Harry Beck Underground map. It took 90 hours to build the detailed map as it consists of 16,500 bricks. The lights behind clear bricks symbolize moving Tube trains, Big Ben is also bonged and the telephone in the box rang. The LEGO's store also has Brickadilly Circus as the information desk, Brickley as the green dragon found in all LEGO stores, and Lester as the official mascot.
LEGO Latest News: Store Contains Largest Underground Carriage Model
According to Mashable, the world's largest LEGO store took two years to build. The largest model in the store is the underground carriage that is made up of roughly 600,000 bricks that took 4,000 to put it all together. The Big Ben replica reportedly took 2,280 hours to build as it required 200,000 LEGO bricks to complete.
The world's largest LEGO shop also features mosaic maker that is a photobooth-esque machine. It captures the image of a customer and produces bricks to make a portrait of the photo. The customer can then purchase the portrait. This is the first time that the LEGO features the mosaic maker. Children, parents, and tourists can now explore the store and experience the LEGO brand.
