"The 100" Season 4 release date is finally set in stone with the recent announcement made by The CW. And now the boring wait begins, which would hopefully be made somehow bearable with these "The 100" Season 4 cast news.
'The 100' Season 4 Cast - Alycia Debnam-Carey Will Not Be Back As Lexa
Bad news for fans who who have been hopeful of actress Alycia Debnam-Carey's inclusion in "The 100" Season 4 cast. Apparently, she will not be back in the fourth season of the series according to reports and is not likely to reprise her role as Lexa either.
Jason Rothenberg, series creator, has already delivered the verdict on Alycia Debnam-Carey's character, reports Mic. It can be recalled that Lexa died in the finale of the show's third season, a rather controversial death to the eyes of her fans who immediately took to the social media to express their disappointment as well as their desire to have Lexa return when "The 100" Season 4 release date comes.
Apparently, the showrunners deem it best to let matters stand as it is, with Lexa dead and not returning with the arrival of "The 100" Season 4 air date. Rothenberg confirmed Lexa's fate saying that "Lexa's gone, she's not coming back to the show."
