One of the fan favorite characters of "Agents of SHIELD" has undoubtedly been Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes, also known as the "Ghost Rider." After the first release in a film adaptation and its sequel, the popularity of the character on "Agents of SHIELD" has led fans to beg for Marvel to take on another adaptation of "Ghost Rider."
Even though fans are saying "Ghost Rider" is ready for a new movie, others are suggesting that Marvel might be adding another show into the growing number of shows it already has on Netflix. If ever they release a new franchise of the "Ghost Rider," it may possibly fall on either TV series or movie category.
In an interview with Luna, he shared the news that something already appears to be brewing. He said that is has been talked about and there is definitely deals in place for a potential making of "Ghost Rider" franchise. Luna said he have so much fun now and just wanted to make sure he gets these episodes right.
Luna said that he is happy to play the Ghost Rider as long as he's permitted to do so. However, he is definitely not objecting to taking on more opportunities. Luna is excited for what's in store for his character.
One thing is for sure, Marvel Studio is already discussing a bigger plan for the character. This all coincides with past rumors concerning the "Ghost Rider" character. According to Screen Rant's report, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." recently teased that the character named Johnny Blaze was the one who gave Robbie Reyes his supernatural powers. A reference to another "Ghost Rider" character puts up the possibility of having a series about the duo tandem.
In the 2007 "Ghost Rider" movie, Johnny Blaze, also known as the "Ghost Rider," was played by Nicolas Cage. Unfortunately, this movie didn't receive enough positive reviews from the viewers. Despite the negative reviews, it was still a box office hit, earning $228.7 million on a $110 million budget.
