Nissan Motors is bringing high end performance to the mainstream market in 2017 by giving its Sedan car models the NISMO treatment. The 2017 Nissan Sentra NISMO packs the same motor as its predecessor the Sentra SR Turbo, which is a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder generating 188 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. It comes with a six-speed manual transmission or a tuned Xtronic gearbox.
Going further, The 2017 Nissan Sentra features a unique front and rear fascias, NISMO badging, dark chrome door handles and a NISMO dark chrome grille. Still, the Sentra NISMO gets some new styling that is functional as well.
The Nissan Sentra rear spoiler reduces lift by 30 percent over the non-NISMO models and the 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires. Consumers can also get their hands on a rare Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R summer tires, available as a dealer add-on.
