"How To Get Away With Murder" will unveil before the viewers Nate and Frank's characters' fate when the show returns for its finale. Episode 9 of the series is set to confirm who's dead and who's leaving, is it Billy Brown or Charlie Weber?
According to Gamenguide, "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 is a story of Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and her team of law students. Known as the Keating 5, the law student-interns carry out solving real life legal cases with Annalise as their mentor. In the process, while solving crime cases, Annalise become entangled with and even charged as the suspect herself.
In the previous episode of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3, two main characters are shown on their possible exit from the show. Nate was supposed to die at the close of the season. According to Variety, his demise during the episode is possible because he was in Annalise house when it got burned by fire.

Likewise, Frank (Charlie Weber) was found in a heated argument with Annalise when he returns to ask for her mercy and forgiveness. Annalise could not forget the man who was the cause of the death of her unborn child. Not only that, Frank was the one who framed her in a murder case.

In an interview with Variety, Weber teases that his death in episode 8 is very like to happen. However, the actor did not declare that being killed off in the series finale will mean his exit from the show.
It would depend still on the writers of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3. on how Frank and Nate's characters' will be treated in episode 9. The series still ranks as the number 1 show on ABC.
