Finally, Bandai Namco finally announced the release date of “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4”. It was also revealed that “Road to Boruto” will be the game’s final DLC reports University Herald. Although it was previously announced and initially believed that the DLC will only be accessible to players in digital downloads, the gaming giant also confirmed that “Road to Boruto” will also have a physical release soon.
It was originally planned that the physical release of “Road to Boruto” will be rolled out in Europe and Japan only. But, seeing the high demand of fans for the game, Bandai Namco decided to release a physical version of the “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” game in North America as well. The release date will be o February 2, 2017 in Japan and February 3 in both Europe and North America.
Players in Japan will also be getting a special version of “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” as a stand-alone game. This means that even without the base game, gamers can still access and play “Road to Boruto”.
According to the Bandai Namco official website, the physical game package for “Road to Boruto” will include the base game “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” that will sold for$49.99 for both PS4 and Xbox One gaming consoles.
Meanwhile, the digital release which only includes the DLC “Road to Boruto” is being offered for $19.99 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Bandai Namco, also revealed that the DLC version will feature adult Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki together with both characters’ unique fighting techniques and moves sets.
The story mode of the “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” DLC “Road to Boruto” will also feature playable characters for both online and offline Free Battle Mode. The adult Naruto and Sasuke will be seen in their respective Hokage Naruto and Adult Sasuke costumes.
