Facebook , in continuing its quest to provide users as feature-packed and comprehensive as it possibly can, brings back the latest improved addition to versatile messaging app as an option to join public chat rooms. Some may say that this app sounds familiar because Facebook tested a separate app .
While the separate app didn't last, some of its functionality will now be available in Messenger itself. The new feature is called Rooms.
Messenger already has group chats, but Rooms has a far more wider conversations. Anyone can join the conversation even without having to be already connected on the social network. However, Rooms can be made private if required, with approval, Techradar , explained.

To add, Rooms is available in Australia and Canada for now. Drew Moxon, Facebook's product manager, further added that: "This will be for topic-based conversations and so people can talk with others they may not know."
However, despite the positivity that Facebook is announcing, it appears that Rooms is far more complicated as invites are shared through a QR code. Unless the room has been set to public, the only way is to either take a snapshot of the QR code invitation or in the owner of such room sends an invite message.
It also has been reported by PC Mag that , Rooms is the Facebook-esque chatroom app for 21st century than no one is asking for.
Do you agree that Rooms will not be a good feature which no one is asking for it?
