Leaks about the new Pokemon Sun and Moon circulated the internet days before its release. With the unveiling of its latest version on Friday, gamers will be seeing a full list of new abilities, more ultra-beasts along with the game's official soundtrack.
New Abilities Revealed In Pokemon
The full list of new abilities in "Pokémon Sun and Moon" has been reserved for the legendary Pokemon Lunana and Solgaleo. Wimpod, a new addition to the roster will be equipped with an ability called "Wimp Out" that lets it switch out of battle automatically if its health drops below half. Golisopod also has the similar ability called emergency exit. Meanwhile, Yungoos will have a special power called stakeout that gives double damage to any enemies in mid-battle. The battery-shaped bug, Charjabug, gets a special battery that beefs up other Pokemon's extraordinary moves.
In the latest video, Niantic showed off its special Z-moves exclusive to three starter Pokémon namely: Decidueye, Primarina and Inceneroar, the final evolved forms of Rowlett, Litten and Popplio.
Decidueye's special Z-move, "Sinister Arrow Raid," allows the Pokemon to soar high in the sky and surround itself with a parade of arrows. It barrels down back to its opponent and launches a devastating attack. Inceneroar's exclusive move, "Malicious Moonsault," turns itself into a ball of explosive firepower and executing a fatal body slam. The last special Z-move, "Oceanic Operetta," uses its powerful voice to conjure a giant ball of water and guides it over to its opponent, causing a torrent of water to fall over its enemy.
Pokemon Sun And Moon Ultra-Beasts
Other interesting features that come with the new video are two new Ultra beasts, UB-03 and UB-05. Niantic announced the inclusion of such Ultra Beasts and described them as powerful creatures that "possess a threat to humans and Pokémon," Polygon reported.
The first Ultra-Beast is UB-03, better known as lightning. It's an electrical tree monster that delivers a surge of electric shock to its opponent in battle. UB-05 or glutton on the other hand, is a warped looking crab with claws sticking out of places. It releases a fury of blow once fully charged.
Pokemon Sun And Moon Soundtrack
One of the most anticipated part of the game is the original soundtrack that comes with it. A handful of music included in the game was leaked over the weekend by a youtube channel. The full pokemon Sun and Moon soundtrack includes 57 songs. The leaked music also offers clues regarding the plot of the game.
Pokemon Sun and Moon will be released for the Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18.
