The "Visage" game is a survival horror video game which is developed by the SadSquare Studio. The game is currently running a fund raising campaign in Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight.
The "Visage" game is similar to "Allison Road" which is the successor the "Silent Hills" game project, The game developer did not lose hope on the cancellation of "P.T." and decided to create other survival horror games.
The "Visage" game was announced last year, in September 2015. Since then, the developers have not released any news regarding the game's development. According to SadSquare, the game is slated to be released in January 2017. However, the January 2017 release date is not final since it is only an estimation of the developer.
The "Visage" game has a dark and mysterious plot about a house that claimed many lives but spared others. The game's setting is in a secluded town set in the 1980s. The house and the characters of the game has always been there for centuries. However, the foundations of the house never seem to decay. Dozens of families have lived in the mysterious house. Many of the former owners and tenants of the house died in brutal ways while the others lived tranquil lives.
As mentioned, the "Visage" game is set in a huge house where terrible things have occurred. The players will be reliving fragments of the house's history which will generally scare the players. Each of the fragments will be dragging the players closer to the dark history that abounds the place. The game's players will be the firsthand witnesses of how people died in the house.
The game developers have decided to create "Visage" game in the trail of the cancelled "Silent Hills" project. However, "Visage" will be the re-imagination of "P.T." but will present it in a longer experience.
According to the developer, "Visage" game will be an adventure, play-a-movie type of game rather than a survival action horror game that focuses on jump scares.
