EA Sports says that the next Madden will feature an Owner Mode that will let players build a franchise from the ground up. Owner Mode will see players pick coaches, stadiums and handle concession prices.
In Owner Mode players will get to manage front-office hires such as coaches. EA Sports says it will be up to the player to pick the appropriate coach that understands their team's strengths. Whether a player builds an offensive juggernaut or defensive beast, it will be up to the them to pick the right coach for the team.
"While many fans gauge a team based on their performances on Sunday, savvy fans know there are a lot of folks who play a big role in the team's success," wrote EA about the gameplay mode.
"The most public of these figures is the head coach, who's ultimately responsible for the gameplan and making sure the players are motivated and ready every week. Make sure your coach's philosophy aligns with the strengths of your team; otherwise, you're in for a rough season!"
Along with the chance to pick the next Bill Belichick, players will also get to renovate their stadiums or even move their team to another city. Owners will get to build up their stadiums to better appeal to the fans.
"In the event your team's home just can't keep up with the Joneses, you've also got the option to rebuild your field from the ground up. Building a new stadium is an expensive proposition, so you'd best make sure this is a place appealing to your team's fans and that the house is packed every weekend," continued EA Sports.
The new game mode comes with the added additions of updated gameplay mechanics. EA Sports says gameplay mechanics let gamers use players physical attributes to capitalizes on unique skill sets.
Madden 25 will be coming to next generation consoles later this year. The title was recently shown off this Tuesday at Microsoft's Xbox One Reveal event. EA reports that the upcoming Madden will use the same engine as the rest of its next generation sports titles. Check out a full trailer for Owner Mode below.
