Showrunner Gary Glasberg left "NCIS" Sept. 28 as he died at the age of 50. Nov. 11 Robert Vaughn also died at the age of 84 due to leukemia.
George Schenck and Frank Cardea has replaced Glasberg as the showrunner of "NCIS" since he died. Schenck and Cardea has been writing partners since 1977 and they were also a part of the series since season 1. They've already written 50 episodes of the series and they've also created numerous other series over the years, as per TV Guide.
Meanwhile, Robert Vaughn has also been successful in his career, he starred in the 1960s hit TV series "The Man from UNCLE" and currently Vaughn has also been doing "Duckie" on the long running "NCIS." Showbiz411 noted that David McCallum as his close friend posted Vaughn's death on his Facebook the day after his death.

"NCIS's" Vaughn has been a hardworking man and he was best known in the original film "Magnificent Seven." He also starred in "The Young Philadelphians" in 1959 in which he was nominated in Oscars for Supporting Actor. He has also done TV Series which he also appeared in limited and regular guestings.

Following Gary Glasberg is Robert Vaughn which saddened the "NCIS" family. However, Schenck and Cardea has been very pleased working with the family in which Cardea stated that they were surrounded with incredibly talented and dedicated cast and crew.
The loss of their "NCIS" family member has been outpoured with so much love. The series has been or air every Tuesday at 8 pm on CBS.
