While Liev Schreiber's marriage did not turn out to be a happily-ever-after, the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" actor's TV career is on a roll, following the announcement of "Ray Donovan" Season 5. What fans should be anticipating apart from the carefully crafted scenes is a number of family values in the upcoming season.
"Ray Donovan" Season 5 fans will see Ray and his family united. Most of them will survive and be taught with an important lesson - that there is strength in unity. Moreover, sticking together will allow them to achieve higher goals.
Despite showrunner David Hollander's hints on ending the TV series, "Ray Donovan" Season 5 will wrap up with a bang, as viewers will be given the opportunity to witness how the family will endure obstacles. Hollander also teased that Season 5 will focus on Ray and Abby's relationship, boxing, Hollywood, as well as the growing closeness with the brothers.
Meanwhile, Schreiber seems to be in high spirits, despite his shocking split from wife of eleven years, Naomi Watts. The former couple appears to be amicable, however, as snaps of him and Watts seem to indicate family cohesiveness, which is very similar to what's about to take place in "Ray Donovan" Season 5.
More on what to expect in "Ray Donovan" Season 5 is if Abby's (Paula Malcolmson) cancer has indeed been cured. A progress on Ray's relationship with his father, Mickey (Jon Voight) should also be expected, as it clearly benefitted him in the previous season.
"Ray Donovan" Season 5 will also portray Bridget merely taking a visit in NYU. Whether she'll leave for college or not, we'll have to find out until Season 5 premieres.
Watch out for the premiere of "Ray Donovan" Season 5 on Showtime in 2017. More news on the hit TV series will be posted soon, only here at GamenGuide.
