A new free addition is out now for Angry Birds Seasons that should help provide an interesting twist on the launch bird, kill pigs gameplay. Portals are now in existence in Rovio's world. It's not a cross-over with Valve, cool though that may be (imagine the voice of GLaDOS mocking you as you smash piggie after piggie), but rather the result of some harmless magic. See for yourself below.
That, ladies and gentlemean, is "Abra-Ca-Bacon," which certainly mix things up for both the physics and the strategy required for the game about as much as the gravitational pull when the game launched into space.
Like a great many updates for the mobile wonder that is Angry Birds, the update itself is free. It's out now on Android and iOS, and slated to hit Mac and PC versions soon. The update itself adds 36 levels. For any latecomers, you can still grab Angry Birds Seasons for the more than fair price of $1.
In other Angry Birds news, Rovio recently signed a deal with Sony Pictures to release the Angry Birds movie in 2016, and will be produced by Despicable Me's John Cohen.
