A copy of the "Total War: Warhammer" High King Edition was just recently given away for free. This news might be a day too late for gamers who have been eyeing the rarest of the rare edition but at least this should serve as an inspiration to be super vigilant next time. One never know when another juicy "Total War: Warhammer" DLC deal will pop up.
Free 'Total War: Warhammer' High King Edition
A Twitter post made by the official Total War account, it was revealed that Creative Assembly was offering a free "Total War: Warhammer" High King edition. It was part of a fund raising event called Franco Jam Charity Fundraising.
For those who might not be aware, the "Total War: Warhammer" High King edition is the rarest of the rare among the available editions of the game. Everything about the edition speaks about its exclusivity. Modelled after the Book of Grudges, it is encased in a large ornate box with 3D Dwarfen style accents done in metallic gold, reports Total War Wiki.
The complete "Total War: Warhammer" High King edition package also contains a size 11 Grudge ring with a leatherette strang in case the owner wants to wear it around his neck. In addition, the set also contains a Slayers Whestone Pendant, Dwarfen Drinking Horn with stand, canvas map, an art book, metal case and Chaos Warrior Race Pack.
Coming 'Total War: Warhammer' DLCs
For those who might not be able to secure the highly-coveted High King edition at the moment, fret not. There are a number of "Total War: Warhammer" DLCs in the works.
For instance, there is a rumored "Total War: Warhammer" DLC that is speculated to be Wood Elf-themed, as previously reported by GamenGuide. The upcoming DLC is expected to come out next month, probably before Christmas.
In addition, a "Total War: Warhammer" DLC will be coming by February 2017. The good news is this DLC has been confirmed by Creative Assembly itself and is no longer mere speculation.
Gamers are hyped about this particular "Total War: Warhammer" DLC as it will be bringing a new playable race Bretonnia. At the moment, Bretonnia is only partially playable but will not be usable for campaign modes.
With the February 2017 "Total War: Warhammer" DLC, Bretonnia will be getting a revamp in its lineup as well. The pack will come with three new legendary lords as well as improved units for the faction. And the clincher is, it will be totally free.
