Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2" will be soon available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 15. However, major performance issues on PlayStation 4 have leaked. Its multiplayer feature cannot be played by gamers.
"Watch Dogs 2" Update: Performance Drops Below 30 FPS
"Watch Dogs 2" features a new protagonist in San Francisco city. It allows players to act as the lead, choose from a variety of side activities and play with other gamers. However, all of these may be terrible on PlayStation 4 due to major performance issues. According to Where Costumers Come First Tech, "Watch Dogs 2" 4K footage on PlayStation 4 has spread online. It shows that the game is running well but the game's live stream by Eurogame shows otherwise.
"Watch Dogs 2" live stream reveals a variety of performance issues. In the video, the game is terrible at 1:55:00 with below 30 fps just after a few seconds. The PlayStation Access video of "Watch Dogs 2" that was released recently confirms that the game drops to below 30 fps frequently.
"Watch Dogs 2" Update: Seamless Multiplayer Featured Turned Off
PlayStationLifeStyle also reports that "Watch Dogs2" gamers cannot play the seamless multiplayer feature. The in-game notice states "There's currently an issue with the seamless multiplayer feature causing the game to lag and crash periodically. To eliminate that issue, seamless multiplayer is offline until we're able to fix it.<"
Ubisoft assures the players that these issues will be fixed right away before the official release of "Watch Dogs2." The player who bought the game from Amazon UK confirmed that the multiplayer feature was turned back on. However, it eventually ended up with dipping major performance.
Players need to wait until the official launching of "Watch Dogs 2" on November 15 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and November 29 for PC. More contents will also be released after the launch. Those with Season Pass can get every DLC with a discounted price.
