Arkane Studio and Bethesda's "Dishonored 2" is now available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The stealth action-adventure video game is the sequel to "Dishonored" where Emily Kaldwin sets on a journey to reclaim her throne.
In the newest game, players have an option to play as Emily's father and bodyguard Corvo Attano. The added character brings forth several unique abilities under Possession, Blink, Bend Time, Windblast and Devouring Swarm. Dishonored 2 Runes Location Guide
There are a lot of places in "Dishonored 2" that will show you the Runes necessary to help you level-up your abilities. Although they can be bought at the black market shop, there is another way to locate them.
In "Dishonored 2", the runes can only be found in 8 missions, that is, from two to nine. In Mission 2: Edge of the World, the first one is found in the sunken ship. Exit your cabin and then go to the deck, jump in the water and dive in the boat to find the rune. Next, look inside the Whale corpse and follow the blood trails.
Go towards the pink building and you will see black market icons and buy one from the black market in town. Jump in the canal located near the Overseer Building and then find the small gate. Shoot the plank using crossbow to get the rune.
Another way of acquiring them is by reaching the terrace of the Overseer of the building through the balcony. There will be a safe on the 3rd floor with a 225 combination. Check the book and the note placed on the table for a hint. Thereafter, look for another terrace from the balcony and then search for the overseer facilitating the crowd. You will have to put him on sleep and then you can jump down to get the Rune. Go back to the balcony and jump to another one at the same side. Once you reach the other side, go to the rooftop. Move towards a green building with a cigar logo on it. There will be another rooftop ahead, climb it and then dive towards the water. Get on land and then look for a blue building. There will be another overseer inside. Make sure to kill him before collecting your reward.
In Mission 3: The Good Doctor, go to the dining hall and towards the left near the table you can find one easily. Use Blink or Far Reach on the 4th floor of the building to acquire the rune inside a window across you. You also need to destroy bloody nest in the Recuperation Room to get the rune. Another one is located in the basement of the elevator. Use blink or far reach to get there. Break the cables first and then use the powers to reach the location. The last one is found in the Outsider Shrine located on the 4th floor alley.
