The Sony Xperia XZ and X Compact now have updates from Sony. These will include fixes on the security features of both devices.
Security updates
Build numbers 39.0.A.3.30 is assigned for the Sony Xperia XZ while the X Compact will have build number 34.1.A.3.49. Though it is certain that the updates will focus on the security of the smartphones, there is still no specific information on what will be included.
Users of the Sony Xperia XZ and X Compact are advised to be patient when these updates are released as it may take some time before they can be downloaded on the phones. The Settings menu of the phones can be manually checked to see if the updates are available for download.

The Sony Xperia XZ is praised by many because of the great features it offers smartphone users. For one, its display is set at 5.2-inch full HD which is similar to what the Xperia Z5 had.
