More recently, GamenGuide reported that Elodie Yung is set to return as Elektra Natchios (or possibly the mythical Black Sky) in the Netflix series. Nevertheless, some fans believe that the "Daredevil" Season 2 surprise villain could be back to terrorize Matt Murdock and his new friends.
Vincent D'Onofrio only appeared in a few episodes of "Daredevil" Season 2, but it was proven that Kingpin is still a force to reckon with. There are speculations that Wilson Fisk will show up in "The Defenders" and could be secretly connected to Sigourney Weaver's still-unnamed villainess.

In "Daredevil" Season 2, Wilson Fisk manipulated Frank Castle to gain control of Ryker's Island prison and was responsible for The Punisher's escape. It is possible that the villain will grow more powerful in "The Defenders" and could even be connected to Sigourney Weaver's character when the series debuts on Netflix next year.
