Producer Shawn Levy admitted that 'Stranger Things' Season 2 is yet to come, but Season 3 is already a part of his plan. He also added that new characters will also be added in the series, but they will be sticking to its original group as the main protagonist.
Reports have been claiming that fans will surely love the cast which will be added because they are great characters. Shawn added that the main characters in 'Stranger Things' Season 2 wanted to live a normal life, after the events that happen in Season 1. The Bustle noted that going back into their normal after what happened to them won't be that easy for them.
'Stranger Things' Season 2 is said to be scarier this time. The characters will be more mature and they will be facing more supernatural things as they journey to the life they've wished for. Their experiences in this season will change their lives as well.

According to a report, showrunners of 'Stranger Things' Season 2 are already on the thought of season 3. And that they've already made preparations for the series. Based on the claims, they have started writing and making it. Levy did not give more hints about the series though they have confirmed that there are more to be expected this season.

There has been no confirmation yet for 'Stranger Things' Season 2 air date though it is expected that the segmet will air next year, while season 3 is scheduled on 2018.
