Eager fans can expect a higher level of "Stranger Things" Season 2. It is anticipated that the show will grow together with the cast. There are also claims that a new and young protagonist will be added. As Shawn Levy implied, the kids are charming as before but they've change a lot since season one.
"Stranger Things" Season 2 has not yet started filming but it will be set in 1984 and will venture a bit outside Hawkins. It is not in the fictional small Indiana town as seen in the previous season. The sequel will be taken from the James Cameron's playbook and it may change a bit but it will still stay from its origin. Film noted that the next season will also add new characters following the young protagonists.
According to Mirror, the three new characters were hinted as Max, Roman and Billy but these are just speculations. Also, it is already known that Max and Roman were already a regular cast. "Stranger Things" Season 2 is going to reveal answers from season one, but not all. Levy called it sequel rather than series because it's a follow-up on its first season.

Fans will also discover in "Stranger Things" Season 2 that Eleven still exists, but on a different form. Also, given the plus that Dr. Martin Brenner survived from the monster attack in season one would surely set the momentum in a fierce note as well.
