With the end of the Boyhood arc in "Naruto Shippuden," anime fans can expect to learn more about Naruto and his friends' journey in new episodes. Latest spoiler news teased of Sasuke's new challenges as he embarks on a solo trip to atone for his wrongdoings.
"Naruto Shippuden" will soon open a new chapter for the anime series that will feature Sasuke's backstory. Released in Japan on 2015, the Naruto book series titled "Sasuke's Story: Book of Sunrise" will be adapted for television.
The said Naruto book tells the story of Sasuke's atonement journey and his quest to unveil the mysteries of the Kaguya Otsutsuki, according to Saiyan Island. Anime fans can expect to learn about the said warrior's thoughts and feelings over his brother Itachi Uchiha and his murderous past, including his friendship with Naruto.
With a promise to seek retribution for his past deeds, Sasuke's journey will help him to find a way to protect his loved ones without endangering other people. Given a 224-page book, speculations pointed to a four-episode arc to tell Sasuke's story.
"Naruto Shippuden" episode 484 titled "The Detonating Man" will serve as the first episode in the Sasuke "Book of Sunrise" arc. Meanwhile, episode 485 hint of a battle given its title "Colosseum."
Viewers can also expect to see the Sasuke-themed episodes in December, as indicated in the same report. It appears that the anime will have a short break after the end of the "Naruto Shippuden" Boyhood arc. Episode 484 and episode 485 are scheduled for release on Dec. 1 and Dec. 8, respectively.
Prior to the anime's two-week break, the final episode to the show's Boyhood arc featured the childhood stories of the warriors Jiraiya and Kakashi. "Naruto Shippuden" episode 483 showed Jiraiya spending time with his fellow Sannin members, while Kakashi's backstory gave fans a peek at his ninja academy days.
