A day before the game is officially launched. Bathesda Softworks released a new trailer for "Dishonored 2." Unlike the previous trailer, the new one looks like it has been taken out of an action movie, complete with huge production value and Computer Generated Imagery (CGI). The new trailer is all about the gameplay footage that builds on the same narrative that the first teaser had provided and possibly revealing some of the plot for "Dishonored 2."
For the gameplay of "Dishonored 2," gamers will play as Emily Kaldwin and Convo Attano. Convo Attano is the guard-turned-assassin while Emily Kaldwin is the daughter of the late Jessamine Kaldwin. Jessamine who was assassinated at the beginning of the previous game.
Going deeper, the two main characters for "Dishonored 2" have very distinctive qualities. In terms of skill sets, Emily fights with a bit more finesse than Convo. Convo has the classic skills of Possession, Rats Swarm, and Blink, Emily has a new skill set and powers; Far Reach, Shadow Walk, and Mesmerize.
In "Dishonored 2" Emily and Convo have different skill sets. Emily's Far Reach ability works differently compared to Convo's Blink ability which fans of the previous game are already accustomed to. Instead of using Blink to instantly teleport to a new location, Emily shoots out a magic tendril, a skill that enables Emily to move towards her target.
"Dishonored 2" comes from the award winning game developer Arkane Studios with game publisher Bathesda. The game takes Convo Attano and Emily Kaldwin to the coastal City of Karnaca which is a fictional city modeled after the architecture and fashion of Southern European nations such as Greece, Italy and Spain.
Fans of the game are thrilled for the game's release. "Dishonored 2" will be available on the following platforms namely PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on Friday, November 11, 2016.
