Snapchat's Spectacles are sunglasses which can record a 10-second video which can be uploaded directly to the Snapchat app. The recorded video will be saved to the user's Snapchat Memories.
The Spectacle's camera has a built-in 155-degree lens that are meant to imitate almost how humans see. The sunglass which comes in three different colors - black, teal, and coral - are sold in a retail price of $129 according to the Business Insider.
In a report by the Verge, Snapchat users must tap the button which is located on the left-hand corner of the Spectacle and it will immediately stop recording when reaches the 10 second limit.
In case the user forgets their phone, Snapchat's Spectacle will store the videos until the users can reunite with their device. Android users will have to transfer the videos using WI-FI while iOS users can transfer using the Spectacle's Bluetooth connection.
The Spectacles sunglasses can last for about 24 hours. In order to see the battery life the users will have to double-tap "the outward-facing light" that indicates how much energy the glasses have.
The sunglasses come with a charging case and cable which can recharge the Spectacle four more times. There are still no details on the image quality of the snaps recorded or if the sunglass is weatherproof.
Snapchat has announced that the Snapbot vending machine will settle in a location for only a day. Be sure to check back here on GameNGuide and we will keep you updated on this latest trend.
