Niantic has rolled out a new update for “Pokemon Go” and from the looks of it, the winners here are the players. Aside from the daily bonuses and spawns, augmented reality players can look forward to more lock and loaded itineraries with hunting time comes.
More PokeStop releases than usual
Compared to before when players could get (at most) three Poke Balls or Great Balls, the return has now practically doubled, as mentioned in a previous post. Of course, it would depend if the payout from PokeStops would include potions or eggs but the fact is that Niantic is being generous for “Pokemon Go”.
The offer by Niantic for “Pokemon Go” players started last Nov. 7 and will be good up to Nov. 11. It is likely that after this period, the payout from PokeStops will revert to normal until a new occasion comes around. Right now, the obvious wait is Christmas where Niantic is expected to offer a similar in-game event as Halloween.
Eagerly awaiting the new breed of Pokemon
Aside from the bag full of goodies for “Pokemon Go” there are of course the targets – the new Pokemon critters. There will be changes in spawns with more of the occasional ones reportedly appearing from here on.
This means “Pokemon Go” players will finally get to see less of the Pidgeys, Rattatas, and Zubats, the common ones any player likely came across with the previous version. Then again, some still appear (and in numbers) though players are unlikely to complain considering these types are no longer available when hatching the 2 KM eggs.
For those who are looking to evolve some of them, this is perhaps the best way to reel them into your inventory and do the necessary. However, be sure to make room since the occasionally spawning ones are expected to ramp up.
There are a lot of new enhancements as well, per reports. These cover the changes to gyms and PokeStops where the ultimate goal right now is racking up those XP and Stardust.
