The CW network added 4 episodes for "Legends of Tomorrow" season, ranking up onto 17 episodes in total for the DC TV series. This decision in making "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 longer is because the previous season only consisted of 13 episodes, having little screen time for some characters.
'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 2 Improved
The first four episodes of "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 has grown in its ranks in the CW network. Drawing over 1.8 million viewers with each episode and a 0.6 demo rating every week.
"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 is also one of the high-ranking CW shows, which puts it in leagues with hit titles like "The Flash", "Supergirl", "Supernatural" and "Arrow". All shows hold a 0.7 ranking. "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 has improved over the year and is currently matching the "Vampire Diaries" in garnering 40% of viewers.
In addition to the second season full order of "Legends of Tomorrow", other DC-based TV series including "The Flash", "Arrow" and "Supergirl" are expected to renew to their episode numbers. "The Flash" and "Arrow" will both have a 23-episode for its current season and "Supergirl" will have 22 episodes slated for the DC comic hit TV series.
"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will also replace the time-traveling, Rip Hunter with new protagonist Nathan Heywood. "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 stars include Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, and Victor Garber.
"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will see heroes battle with the newest threat such as Damien Dahrk, Reverse Flash, Malcolm Merlyn, Captain Cold, collectively known as the "Legion of Doom."
In other news, CW will have Greg Berlanti's newest addition TV series, "Riverdale" along with the return of "iZombie", "The Originals" and "The 100." CW hasn't officially made a decision on the future fall series "No Tomorrow" and "Frequency."
