Something secret it lurking within "Pokemon Go" that data miners and gamers have yet to uncover. It appears that Niantic and game developers have added something extra in one of the game's recent updates.
"Pokemon Go" contains several secrets, some of which were discovered by a few gamers while others remain hidden inside the mobile gaming app's codes. One of the said secrets was even deployed to the game's live version, according to the Niantic boss John Hanke.
In an interview with Games Radar, Hanke teased that game developers have introduced something new to "Pokemon Go" that players have yet to notice. He stated, "There's [a secret] out there right now and we'll see how that plays out over the course of the next few weeks."
When asked to elaborate on the said game secret, the Niantic executive declined to comment. He also refused to provide timeline hints as to when the said enhancement was released. However, Hanke mentioned that "Pokemon Go" will always have game secrets given the team's constant development activities and new gameplay ideas.
At this time, it is unclear if Hanke was referring to the recent gaming leak that unveiled the Pokemon monster Ditto's potential appearance in Niantic's mobile gaming app. Several reports also shared the existence of game codes for 100 Pokemon creatures that may soon spawn in the wild.
Meanwhile, some of Niantic's latest gaming enhancements included the release of a new daily bonus program, changes to Gyms battles and a special time-limited treat. "Pokemon Go" players can get extra Great Balls and Ultra Balls from Pokestops until Nov. 11, Friday.
Many gamers have also noticed the increased spawning of Pokemon monsters in the wild. Apart from numerous creatures appearing around a trainer's area, Niantic appears to have adjusted the spawn rate of rarely seen Pokemon monsters.
"Pokemon Go's" new daily bonus program was launched in early November. Learn more about the game and one of its hidden characters in the clip below:
