"The Sims 4: City Living" introduced much improved gameplay features as well as three new careers with unique tasks. The latest news indicate that game developers might introduce additional career assignments in the upcoming downloadable content(DLC).
New Career Assignments For The Upcoming "Sims 4" DLC
With Sims 4's Get To Work features and City Living, players now have the option to work from home in the political, social media and critic career paths, as noted in a report from Yibada. The new feature assigns specific tasks to the Sims depending on the kind of career they take upon.
"It's a nice hybrid of more active gameplay and more integrated story gameplay," "Sims 4" Producer, Grant Rodiek said. Rodiek describes the upcoming feature similar to the "opportunities feature" in the "Sims 3" game. He also added that City Living has a better game progression and player flexibility.
"In City Living, I think it's a really great fusion of telling a story and us guiding you toward those stories in a more seamless way." He said. City Living and Get To Work will entail an interesting set of tasks to fulfill that will surely pique the interest of the Sims 4 fans.
Sims 4 City Living New Aspirations Revealed
As if the upcoming task/assignment update is enough, "Sims 4" City living is also gearing towards 2 new traits and aspiration. A known Sims insider, SimGuruSteph revealed on a twitter post the Unflirty and Vegetarian traits along with a new aspiration named "City Native" that focuses on exploring the city and meeting new people.
Since the previous game, only three new traits ("Dance Machine", "Get Together", "Jealous" and "Kleptomaniac") and two new aspirations ("Outdoor Enthusiast", "Outdoor Retreat" and "Grilled Cheese") have been added to the roster. With the new upcoming updates, playing the Sims City Living 4 may give you the best experience so far.
