Konami and Kojima Productions have confirmed that the two companies will using the upcoming E3 in June to promote Metal Gear Solid products. This means that the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will also be seeing the light of the day.
As always, big things are expected from Konami and Kojima at this year’s E3, and it seems like the company is also set to deliver. Moreover, both the companies will be trying to make their E3 event as big as possible after an amazing show at th year's Game Developer's Conference.
In recently released financial results document for March, Konami states: “We also intend to promote METAL GEAR series, our leading products, including effectively utilizing E3 2013 which will be held at Los Angeles, in the U.S. in June 2013.”
“In addition, for Winning Eleven series, our original and next-generation game engine, basic programming of games, using solely for soccer is currently under development in order to provide enjoyment of more real soccer game.”
While how, excatly, they will promote the game remains unclear, as far as Kojima’s history is concerned, the company has always managed to show a new trailer at every E3. So there are chances that fans might experience some new information for Metal Gear Solid 5 this June.
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will be the eleventh main entry in the Metal Gear series and is believed to be the first title in the MGS franchise to have an open world gameplay structure.
