More problems for one of the troubled developers behind the flustered Aliens: Colonial Marines. Kotaku is claiming two sources who are reporting that the entire staff of TimeGate Studios has been sent packin'.
The developer had been having a difficult go of it lately, laying off 25 employees in all in March, and more recently, filing for bankruptcy protection. It was reported the company owed creditors somewhere between $10 and $50 million.
The company was on the receiving end of rough reviews for taking part in the critically panned Colonial Marines. Fellow developers Sega and Gearbox were recently named in a lawsuit over the game, accused of false advertising.
A spokesman from TimeGate has yet to confirm the staff layoff.
