Finally! After waiting for months, the newest addition to "Overwatch" characters will be added. The game's head writer, Michael Chu, confirmed that they will be including LGBT characters in the famous game. Plus, a Public Test Realm update for the latest character Sombra has been released!
LGBT Character Revealed as Promised!
PlayStaion Lifestyle cited that Michael Chu, the head writer of "Overwatch," confirmed that they haven't forgotten the commitment to create an LGBT hero for the game. He also said that their creative team has been working on the said project and trying their best to deliver the newest character as soon as possible.
Michael Chu added that they will launch not only one character but multiple characters to "Overwatch" roster. They actually have this strong feeling that relationship stories, romantic and familial will be a big hit.
The head writer reiterates that they will be releasing a new story soon for "Overwatch;" a narrative that will address the promise that they've spilled before. He also gave emphasis that this upcoming story is very important to all of us.
Sombra Public Test Realm Updated!
The geniuses behind "Overwatch" posted an update for Sombra's PTR. This mainly allows PC players to test out the latest hero, Sombra. Moreover, gamers can now expect the Arcade plus, Ecopoint: Antartica, a new arena map. The said update for Sombra also fixes bugs.
Blizzard cited on their post when Competitive Plays for "Overwatch" will take place. Its second season will end on November 23 at 4 p.m. PDT or November 24 at 0:00 UTC. The Competitive Play Season 3 will be happening on November 30 at 4 p.m. PDT or December 1 at 0:00 UTC.
Though there has been an update and competitive play announcement, we haven't heard any news regarding when this "Overwatch" experience will be carried out fully to all players. Fans and game lovers will definitely watch for it.
