However, a recent report claims that the third season may be aired as early as the beginning of 2017, according to report. The "Daredevil" cast is reportedly all set along with the villains that are tasked to appear in the upcoming season.
Wilson "The Kingpin" Fisk is also rumored to make a comeback on "Daredevil" Season 3. The "Jurassic World" actor Vincent D'Onofrio who plays the character "Kingpin" was noted saying that the series has not ended the character yet. In addition, a popular assassin and the protagonist's love interest, Elektra Natchios will also be featured in the season 3 premiere.
It is said that Elektra will be resurrected to serve the bad guys in "Daredevil" Season 3. Another villain is also slated for the season, by the name of Bullseye, the arch-nemesis of the "Daredevil". Moreover, spinoffs are also slated for the series that are set to lead up to the season 3 premiere.
Meanwhile, Marvel is said to make use of the "Daredevil" comic as a franchise. The studio is reportedly set on developing three new ongoing spinoff series. Marvel reportedly revealed that the ongoing title will include Elektra, Bullseye and Kingpin in February 2017, Bleeding Cool reported. "Daredevil" Season 3 will eventually be the end of the spinoff series.
"Daredevil" Season 3 is also believed to change the costumes of its characters, at least that is true for Elektra.
